Previous: Anna Gets a Bad Feeling
Ziz considers making an anti-Anna callout post to FB... but graciously refrains (rats!)
She instead attempts to unpack Anna's skullduggery w/... some employees of that *other* Rationalist org, MIRI.
The advice of these MIRIites is to pack the whole business back up again.
Patting Mz. Ziz on the proverbial head, they ask if she mightn't be overreacting: if she mightn't "just [want] Anna to like [her]."
...In Ziz's marvelous turn-of-phrase: the vibe at both MIRI & CFAR is "Rationalism Gothic".

Ziz ofc protests: she is *not* feeling "ohmygod I want Anna to like me".
She is instead reeling at Anna's BETRAYAL (we, who are perhaps greater cynics than Ziz, might jump in to opine that this 'betrayal' lacked the *classic* surprise factor of most betrayals... but w/e: Ziz's term is more than appropriate).
Anna has betrayed not only Ziz; she has (in Ziz's opinion) betrayed the entire mission of CFAR. As Ziz indignantly tells the MIRIites: "this was the opposite of what CFAR promised, to be about rationality, she was trying to enforce anti-rationality."
